University of California President’s Faculty Research Fellowships 2020-21

UCHRI is pleased to announce the six recipients of the University of California President’s Faculty Research Fellowship for 2020–21, a prestigious award which has supported the work of junior and senior UC faculty for over 30 years. Spanning in scale from the oceanic to the microbial, the nuclear, and the transnational, the work of these researchers represents the breadth of excellence across humanistic disciplines in the UC system. Drawn from six different campuses, this year’s awardees will use their fellowship time to advance a diverse array of written and film projects, each of which considers the embeddedness of political imaginaries within national, racial, economic, and religious structures.
