UCHRI offers furnished apartments for short-term academic fellows of the Residential Research Groups and Collaborative Research Groups.
The on-campus apartments are within walking distance to the Institute and all other parts of the UCI campus, as well as to shopping centers, restaurants, entertainment and recreation.
Depending on availability, UCHRI may be able to offer assistance to visiting scholars from other departments on campus.

UCHRI On-Campus Furnished Apartments
The Gabrielino Apartments are furnished on-campus apartments, offering comfort and functionality. Each unit has a fully equipped kitchen to prepare your own meals, with adjacent dining room and living room. Ground-floor units have private patios and second-floor units have balconies. The apartments have one-bedroom and one bathroom, with approximately 560 to 750 square feet. The bedroom has one queen-size bed. The upstairs units are accessible by stairs only; there are no elevators.
Please note that air conditioning and indoor fireplaces are not available in these units.
