This project was a collaboration with the “MAKE ART/STOP AIDS” international network of scholars, artists, and activists committed to ending the global AIDS epidemic. Central to these endeavors was an art exhibition articulating a human-rights approach to HIV intervention for students and the public at large. The Extramural Explorations grant supported lectures and community engagements led by three humanities scholars; the publication of Now It’s In Your Hands, a free booklet; and the promotion of an online web portal intended to showcase essays, histories, policy information, and current debates.
