Undocumented Migration Working Group: Centering the Voices of Undocumented Scholars

The purpose of this working group, comprised of currently- or formerly- undocumented graduate students, is to contribute to the existing literature on immigration with a special focus on questions of immigration policies and enforcement. In our group meetings, we will discuss the research and writing process as scholars who are directly affected by immigration policies, exploring the challenges we have encountered during the research process, strategies for navigating our positionality and the writing process, and more. In addition to sharing our experiences with one another, we will also share our work, provide feedback, and support each other’s professional development efforts.
