Oct 26–Oct 27, 2007
UC Riverside

This conference brought together an international and interdisciplinary group of scholars to examine problems of empire in the history of architecture and urbanism, and to interrogate the persistence of location-based master narratives in the discourse on national and racial origin. Organized by UCHRI’s Conferences & Seminars program grantee Patricia Morton, Professor and Chair, College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences, History of Art, UC Riverside.
