Film Screening of U-Carmen Ekhayelitsha

The International Center for Writing and Translation in the School of Humanities presented the film screening of U-Carmen Ekhayelitsha, a South African adaptation of Bizet’s famous opera CARMEN with opera singer Pauline Malefane and winner of the Golden Bear for Best Film at the 2005 Berlin Film Festival. UCHRI Director David Theo Goldberg moderated this event.
