Allen Feldman, political, cultural, and medical anthropologist, is Professor of visual culture and philosophy of media at New York University. His books include Archives of the Insensible: Of War, Photopolitics and Dead Memory, and Formations of Violence: The Narrative of the Body and Political Terror in Northern Ireland.
