Angelica Flores Valdivia

Angelica Flores Valdivia was born in Mexico and raised in the California Bay Area. Currently, she is a fourth-year undergraduate at UC Irvine majoring in Criminology, Law, and Society with a minor in Chicano-Latino Studies. As a first-generation immigrant and college student, she values her UCI Public Scholarship Institute experience and contributions, as well as her Imagining America Joy of Giving Something fellowship, which has been important to her pursuit of a collaborative partnership with Leen Alhabi on the “Revelatory Aspirations and Dreams: Striving for Generational and Artistic Connection and Co-Creation” project. Looking to the future, she is invested in completing a law school education to undertake her lifelong dream of becoming an immigration attorney to better support vulnerable communities.
