Chikako Takeshita

Chikako Takeshita is Associate Professor of Gender and Sexuality Studies at UC Riverside. She conducts feminist studies of science, technology, and medicine focusing on reproduction, environmental health, and politics of the body. She authored The Global Biopolitics of the IUD: How Science Constructs Contraceptive Users and Women’s Bodies (MIT Press, 2012).
