Christophe Thouny

Christophe Thouny is Associate Professor at Ritsumeikan University. His field of interest covers East Asian urban cultures and Japanese visual culture. He is co-editor of Planetary Atmospheres and Urban Life After Fukushima (Palgrave Mcmillian, 2017) and is working on three projects: environmentalism in Japanese animation, literary and cartographic practices of Tokyo, and Japanese social critique.
