Dan Bustillo (they/them) is a graduate of the Ph.D. Program in Visual Studies at the University of California, Irvine with a Graduate Feminist Emphasis in Gender and Sexuality Studies. In 2023, they will be a University of California President’s Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of California, Riverside and in 2024, they will begin as Assistant Professor in Gender Studies at the University of California, Los Angeles. Their work centers on trans Latinx activists’ media use as a tool for worldmaking.
