King-Kok Cheung received her PhD in English from University of California, Berkeley. She is Professor of English at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Her fields of interest include Chinese literature, comparative literature, comparative American ethnic literatures, Asian American literature, Comparative Heroic Traditions and Comparative Odysseys, and Renaissance British Literature.
