Munyao Kilolo

Munyao is a writer and editor with a journalism background. His work as a Comparative Literature PhD student involves the comparison of African and European languages and their interactions and futures, as well as translation theory and practice. He is the founder and editor-in-chief of Ituĩka, a Literary platform devoted to African languages and translation. He also previously served as the managing editor of Jalada Africa. At UC Irvine, Munyao has worked as a communications fellow for the School of Humanities, writing feature-length articles and alumni profiles for the SOH newsletter.
