Ricky D’Andrea Crano is an artist, an educator, and a critical media and cultural theorist whose work focuses on data power, algorithmic epistemologies, affective infrastructures, and the environmental and psychodynamic implications of compulsory digitality. Currently a Film and Media Studies lecturer at UC Irvine, Ricky’s work has appeared in a range of humanities journals, from Convergence to The Journal of Dramatic Theory and Criticism; his book in progress is titled The Authoritarian Internet: Network Fascism, Algorithmic AudioVision, and the Collapse of the Liberal Subject.
