Aaron James is Professor of Philosophy at UC Irvine. He is author of Fairness In Practice: A Social Contract for a Global Economy (Oxford), along with many academic articles and a few books in popular philosophy, including Assholes: a Theory (Doubleday) and Surfing with Sartre (Doubleday).
